About Us

Our company was founded in 1989 in the Mugello region, in the province of Florence, not far from the Mugello Circuit owned by Ferrari, with the precise intent of promoting an area rich in charm but at the same time little known to international tourism.

This was the winning intuition of the founding partner of Collichiari Resort Srl, when the Vacation Rental market was still reserved for a small niche of a few major specialists in the field and certainly not a phenomenon of global reach as it is now.

From the earliest years, we decided to focus our interest and energy on enhancing and introducing these places on the outskirts of Florence, rich in history and enchanting landscapes.

The premises were all there: the charm of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines and the gentle hills of Mugello, ancient villas with a romantically lived-in style, and farmhouses lovingly restored by the owners, many of whom have become over time one of our cornerstones, thanks to a relationship of mutual respect and trust that has never changed over the years.

Dedication, tenacity and professionalism have allowed us to grow over time, to the point that from 1995 onwards, we became the focus of attention for national and international brands among the most famous in the Vacation rental industry, which we were able to enter into fruitful collaboration agreements with.

By the end of the 1990s, we were ready to meet the changing needs of the tourism market and broadened our horizons, extending our offer of villas with pool and vacation rentals in the countryside all over Tuscany, with some quality propositions also in Umbria, Latium and the Amalfi Coast.

Lately in 2022 Collichiari Resort acquired Villa Toscana Srl, thus enriching the company's portfolio with villas throughout the province of Pisa, some parts of the Lucca and Siena areas and the coast extending as far north as Lido di Camaiore and Grosseto to the south.

Our goal has always been to provide future guests with serious and professional assistance, from the first contact to the end of their vacation, thanks to an experienced staff attentive to everyone's needs.

At the same time, we have always been dedicated to our property owners, periodically visiting their properties, organizing specific photo shoots, and promoting their estates in the global tourism market, both online and offline through our affiliates, also thanks to the investment in the use of a specific software that allowed us to optimize sales in the interest of our property owners, eventually promoting vacation rentals on our own dedicated website.

We will continue to love Tuscany and work passionately to choose and evaluate future villas that will become part of our selected portfolio and that we will offer to tourists from all over the world.
