Outside you will find a large garden with private swimming pool (4m x 8m, depth 1.3m), external shower (cold water) and a gazebo for al fresco dining, all for use exclusively by those renting the apartment. Parking space for two cars within the grounds. The property managers live on the ground floor and, whilst respecting your privacy, are always happy to provide assistance or help with suggestions of things to do or places to visit. They produce their own olive oil from the trees within the property and their nearby olive grove.
This is the ideal location for visiting Lucca (15km), Pisa (40km), Viareggio (40km), Montecatini Terme (16km), Florence (85km) and of course the beautiful Garfagnana area in the mountains to the north.

Die Wohnung und die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war sehr ruhig und erholsam für uns. Der Garten ist liebevoll gepflegt und der Pool ist von Olivenbäumen umgeben. Wirklich sehr schön. Um die weitere Umgebung zu erkunden braucht man natürlich ein Auto. Aber es gibt viel zu entdecken, tolle Restaurants in den Bergen, mit einem Wahnsinnsblick über das ganze Thal. Manuela und Giorgio, die in der unteren Wohnung leben, sind super freundlich und diskret.

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber, mit tollem Ausblick und ruhiger Lage. Manuela und ihr Mann waren sehr lieb und zuvorkommend! Wir konnten bei ihr noch Olivenöl und Wein aus der Region kaufen, was wir am Ende des Urlaubes auch gerne gemacht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank!

Wij hebben een heerlijke week vakantie gevierd in het appartement van Manuela en haar man. Hele hartelijke, gastvrije mensen die ondanks de taalbarrière, ons heel goed wegwijs hebben gemaakt. Hebben ons bijv. ook geholpen met het reserveren van een authentiek restaurant boven op de berg en we mochten meteen op de eerste avond aanschuiven bij een buurt bbq. Fantastisch! Prachtige tuin, fijn zwembad en heerlijke terras met geweldig uitzicht. Je bevindt je echt tussen de lokale bevolking, daar houden wij van.

Fantastische plek op de berg, met een mooi uitzicht richting Lucca en Montecarlo. Het huis is mooi en smaakvol ingericht. De tuin met terras en zwembad is heerlijk om te genieten van de Toscaanse zon. In de directe omgeving kan je wandelen in de natuur. Lucca en Pisa zijn goed bereikbaar met de auto. Tenslotte zijn de eigenaren Manuela en Gorgio behulpzaam en heel gastvrij. Mille grazia.

Manuela è unica. proprietaria super gentile e accomodante. appartamento comodissimo con le specifiche descritte. parcheggio wi fi e giardino con piscina tutto pulito e curatissimo. adatto sia a famiglie che a gruppi di amici (noi5) ci siamo sentiti a casa. l area è sicura con finanche la vigilanza. la campagna toscana ti avvolge e dalla finestra si possono ammirare bellissimi panorami su Montecarlo e Lucca. sicuramente ritorneremo anche per un soggiorno più lungo. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Prachtige en rustige locatie, in het begin moesten we even goed zoeken en het hebben van een auto vind ik een must. Daarnaast moet je niet bang zijn om op smalle wegen te rijden zonder verlichting. De eigenaren zijn hartstikke warme en lieve mensen, ze hebben alles goed uitgelegd en tips gegeven voor de omgeving. Ze wonen onder het appartement, maar je hebt alle privacy die je nodig hebt. Echt een aanrader, met alles in de buurt zoals restaurants, supermarkten etc.

Casa Mony is set in the hills above Lucca. It is a peaceful apartment where the owners Manuel and Giorgio live downstairs and are friendly and helpful if needed. We used google translate to communicate. The beds were comfortable and it was fantastic to have the insect nets at the windows so we could open them for a refreshing breeze but there is also air conditioning.
The pool is fine for a dip.
We would recommend Fattoria Savonna and also there is another Osteria in the hills nearby. The produce in this part of the country is superb.
We had a car and I think you would need one in this area although we did see a bus stop nearby.
We did day trips to Lucca, Montecarlo and San Gimignano.
All in all a lovely stay in peaceful Tuscan countryside, thank you for having us.

Heerlijk en schoon verblijf op een rustige locatie met een prachtig uitzicht tussen de olijfbomen. Hele vriendelijke en toegankelijke eigenaar die beschikbaar is voor vragen of tips. Airconditioning is een meerprijs per dag, maar met temperaturen rond de 35 graden in Juli erg prettig.
Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Toscane te verkennen vanuit de bergen boven Lucca.

Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum. Der Garten wird mit viel Liebe gepflegt. Der Pool ist super. Die Straßen zum Haus sind sehr schmal und bergauf. Das sollte einem bewusst sein und nichts ausmachen.

We had a really nice stay! Everything went smoothly and well. The accommodation is very clean and nice, with beautiful view to nearby villages.
