Description
Nestled among the prestigious vineyards of Chianti Classico, Borgo Savignola is an ancient rural hamlet and historic wine estate whose documented origins date back to 1780, set in the hills of Greve in Chianti. For generations, houses, stables, barns, the wine cellar and vineyards formed part of the daily life of a small farming community. Today, these same historic homes welcome guests, keeping alive the deep connection between wine, the land and hospitality.
An oasis of peace and Tuscan charm, Borgo Savignola can accommodate up to 29 guests, making it ideal for family holidays, groups of friends, private events and wine and food experiences.
The various residences are immersed in nature and surrounded by vineyards, each retaining its own identity, shaped by the former stables, barns, kitchens and homes of the hamlet. These historic buildings have been carefully restored and reimagined to offer high-end contemporary comforts, technology and services, while preserving their distinctive authentic character.
By booking the entire hamlet, guests enjoy exclusive use of the various residences, all three private swimming pools and the outdoor spaces, combining the conviviality of a large estate with the privacy of individual homes.
The estate comprises Lamore di Carla, consisting of Casa Pino and Il Fienile; Casa Paolina, located in the main historic building above the wine cellar; Suite Alice; Casa 360, nestled among the vineyards; and L’Aia, situated in the highest and most panoramic part of the estate. Each residence has its own story and distinctive personality.
Guests can enjoy an authentic Chianti Classico experience through wine tastings, cellar tours and the opportunity to purchase the estate’s wines and products. Breakfast is included, while traditional Tuscan dinners, private events and tailor-made food and wine experiences can be arranged upon request.
Guests also have access to a scenic pickleball court set among the vineyards.
